The existing Cook Colliery operation is a bord and pillar (continuous mining) operation, having an output of 600,000 tonnes per annum. The Expansion Project will introduce a longwall mining system into the Argo Seam, the effect of which will be to significantly increase output to 3.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa)
